Little Red Farm Raw Milk is:
- 100% Raw: Raw milk is both a prebiotic & probiotic, has every fat & water soluble vitamin known to man, nutrients needed to digest the lactose, enzymes to help digest your food so you get more nutritional benefits, good acids, and a host of minerals.
- A2A2: A2 is the beta casein protein which is a third of all the protein in your milk. Milk has 2 sets - either both A1 or both A2 or a combination. A1 is most commonly associated with stomach discomfort. A2 is the same beta casein protein that is found in goats' milk and human breast milk and is easily digested. All of LRF's dairy cows have A2A2 genetics.
- Cream-Topped: We don’t skim, homogenize, or pasteurize, so you get all the rich cream nature intended. {Occasionally we will have pints of Raw Cream for sale in the shop; the skimmed milk from those go to feed other animals on the farm.}
- Grass Fed & Pasture Raised: Our dairy cows rotationally graze our pastures and have free choice of hay and alfalfa year-round. During the winter or on occasion they do get a few scoops of supplemental grain at milking only {less than 10% of their diet} and they always have access to their 24-hour grass buffet.
