100 Year Old Italian Sourdough Starter

The sourdough starter you will receive with your Sourdough Starter Kit with Jar was brought to us over a decade ago from the Italian countryside, where it had already been providing wonderful loaves of bread for over 100 years. Our sourdough starter is freeze-dried, so it is in a dehydrated state. Your sourdough bread kit will include instructions for growing and maintaining it.
